      An essay is presented on the history on the conception and conversion of Indonesians into Islam in Indonesia. Specifically, it explores the literary data collected in the literature "Book of One Thousand Questions," narrating the history and reconfiguration of the Indonesian Islam conversation to respond local, contemporary, events and agendas.
