      The article offers news briefs related to college and research libraries. Barclay W. Ogden and Ann Russell receive award from Preservation and Reformatting Section (PARS) of American Library Association's (ALA) Association for Library Collections and Technical Services. A conference on preserving audiovisual media will be offered by Conservation Center for Art and Historic Artifacts (CCAHA) in Denver and in Atlanta. A two-session conference will be conducted by DigCCurr Professional Institute.
