    • Abstract:
A comparison between the opinions attributed to Petrus Brito in the Paris glosses on the Compilatio prima and the opinions expressed in the apparatus Ecce vicit leo on the Decretum (with Animal est substantia, one of the two major representative apparatus of the French, and, specifically, Paris canonistic school of the 13th century) shows a substantial correspondence in several significant instances. It is therefore possible to attribute the authorship of Ecce vicit leo to Petrus Brito. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
