      The article focuses on the significance of an anesthesia in dentistry for people with developmental or acquired disabilities in the U.S. It is stated the various levels of comfort treating and caring for patients with developmental disabilities affect the ability to schedule an appointment. It is noted that it is not important to provide office-based anesthesia an excessive treatment approach for dental care for patients with developmental disabilities.
