      The article focuses on the significance of the four-day visit of Pope Benedict XVI to Jordan in May 2009 which is hoped to spark a renewal of interreligious relations in the country and its neighbors. Farouq Jarar, a Muslim who is director of the Royal Aal al-Bayt Institute in Amman, claimed that the visit will be a much better message for Muslims in general and for Arabs in particular. Related issues are further elaborated.
