    • Abstract:
The article offers information on the Vote Hard, Step Hard: Stop the Violence, an event held by the Cleveland Youth Council in Ohio aimed at educating young people about voting and violence in the city. The event's programs were designed to look like a ballot, so attendees could get familiar with what a ballot looks like. The Cleveland Youth Council took inspiration from a similar 2006 event spearheaded by Joi Travis, assistant state secretary and co-advisor of the Columbus, Ohio, Youth Council.
