- Abstract:
The article focuses on "The Yellow Pages Racket," that was published by the periodical in 1984, and revisits the issue. About 4000 plumbing-heating-cooling (PHC) contractors were surveyed then on the use of Yellow Pages (YP) advertising. The periodical had received the questionnaire back with attachments indicating legal and administrative battles against the YP industry. The recent survey shows the similar relation exists with the YP though the contractors are using other ways to advertise.
