    • Abstract:
The article reports on the safety information issued by Mallinckrodt Inc. about possible association between intra-articular injections of chromic phosphate P32 suspension and acute lymphoblastic leukaenia (ALL) in children. Two children with haemophilia developed ALL after receiving intra-articular injections of chromic phosphate P 32. According to the company, chromic phosphate is not authorised for intra-articular injections and physicians should be vigilant for symptoms of leukaemia.
