The article discusses facts about students who take longer than four years to graduate high school. The U.S. National School Boards Association's Center for Public Education released a report entitled "Better Late Than Never: Examining Late High School Graduates" that says schools should receive official credit for helping these students. The report reveals that late graduates are more successful after high school than classmates who never receive a diploma and are almost as successful as those who graduated on time.
