- Abstract:
The article reports that a team of archaeologists led by Travis Parno and Brent Fortenberry discovered surprising human remains while digging under St. Peter's Church in St. George's, Bermuda. Remains of Royal Navy captain Sir Jacob Wheate and George James Bruere were found under the church despite records of their bodies being buried elsewhere. Both men were important in the history of Bermuda, and why they were placed under the church is a mystery.
