      The article focuses on the condition of pulp and paper mill industry in Canada. It says that the 2008 global economic recession has posted threat of bankruptcy, restructuring, downsizing, and closure to some of Canadian producers. Canadian cabinet minister Pierre Pettigrew notes that Canada can do something to revive the industry and the economy as compared to the U.S. because the recession stays longer and deeper in the U.S. than in Canada.
