      An interview with Time Warner Inc. subsidiary Warner Music Group vice president David Foster is presented. He reflects on the development and loss of his sense of pitch as he aged. He discusses his training as a pianist. Foster also describes the investment that music companies make into the marketing and promotion of their acts. The problems associated with the merger between America Online and Time Warner are addressed.
