- Abstract:
In this article the authors discuss the future of the global economy in the context of the financial, ecological, and social crises affecting poverty and inequalities. It describes how capitalism caused climate change and economic iniquities that led to the severe recession and a potential environmental disaster. The authors argue for a socialist, neoliberal, or nationalized global economy with heavy regulation in order to obtain economic equality and environmental justice.
