- Abstract:
A biography of American editorial cartoonist and environmentalist Jay Norwood "Ding" Darling is presented. He was born on October 21,1876 to his parents Marcellus W. Darling and Clara Woolson Darling. His cartoons won him Pulitzer Prize in 1924 and 1942. He became the chairman of the U.S. Bureau for Biological Survey and implemented various efforts on wildlife conservation. He died on February 12, 1962.
