- Abstract:
The article focuses on the concern of the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) concerning the unbanning in the use of metallic additives in petrol or gasoline in Europe. ACEA raises its concern over the use of metallic additives, particularly MMT, a manganese-based additive that affects vehicles and offers greenhouse gas emissions. ACEA highlights that the passing of the Fuel Quality Directive by the European Union, should have banned metallic additives, particularly MMT.
