      The object of this study is to analyze the judicial decisions on preliminary measures made by the Court of Appeals of Barcelona since the entry into force of the Code of Civil Procedure (LEC) of 2000 until today, and the Courts of Appeals of the rest of Spain during the years 2006-2007, in order to identify the most frequent reasons that are invoked by courts to deny the preliminary measures that are requested on the basis of the Code of Civil Procedure.
