The article presents the text of the conversation of U.S. President George W. Bush with Rick Warren at the Saddleback Civil Forum on Global Health on December 1, 2008. Bush discussed the results of the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). Bush explained why PEPFAR implemented the principle of trusting the local leaders of Africa. The president described the involvement of faith-based organizations in PEPFAR.
