      The article focuses on the hospital-acquired pressure ulcers (HAPU) of the Northwest Community Hospital (NCH) in Arlington Heights, Illinois. It notes that the hospital works toward the National Database of Nursing Quality Indicators (NDNQI) Magnet status to have a significant reduction in pressure ulcer prevalence rates. Survey shows that the critical-care unit revealed the greatest decrease as well as wound care consults.
