The article profiles broadcaster Roger Maltbie of National Broadcasting Co. Inc. (NBC) in the U.S. Maltbie was born in Modesto, California, and grew up in San Jose. He was an accomplished Professional Golfer's Association of America (PGA) Tour player and was employed in NBC in 1992 as sports anchor. In 2006 and 2007, he joined forces with fellow broadcasters Tom Watson and Andy North to form a group called the Legends.
