- Abstract:
This article discusses research by the Wildlife Conservation Society into the risks posed by different diseases that could make a jump from animal to human populations. Diseases including Rift Valley fever, babesiosis, Ebola virus disease, and cholera are noted for the risks inherent in their virulence.
