    • Abstract:
The article considers the potential of the extracranial-intracranial (EC-IC) bypass as an attractive and effective procedure to prevent cerebral hemodynamic failure in patients with cerebrovascular disease. A clinical case of an EC-IC bypass performed in a 63-year-old male patient with proved cerebral hemodynamic impairment is presented. It concludes that haemodynamic profile represents an important indicator for EC-IC bypass surgery in patients with ischemic cerebrovascular disease.
