      The article examines the Business Monitor International (BMI), covering sources of political and country risk data and analysis. BMI, a political risk organization based in London, England, has been providing independent company and political risk intelligence to companies, universities, and government agencies around the world since 1984. BMI is widely respected for the accuracy and independence of its assessments and ratings of risk exposure. In addition to its in-house economists and analysts, BMI has analysts in each country on which the firm reports. To serve its clients, BMI performs primary research all over the globe, consults a variety of reputable secondary sources, and creates its ratings and forecasts in-house.
