      The article focuses on the information technology graduates studies at the University of Virginia in Bloomington, Indiana. The school's master's program offers students chemical informatics, bioinformatics and music informatics. Marty Siegel, a professor in the school's Department of Informatics, asserts that one of the things they did in the establishment of the school was to come at it from an interdisciplinary approach. On the other hand, Gary McGraw, who received a full scholarship for master's program in human-computer interaction at the school, asserts that financial returns of attending the program were incalculable.
