      The article focuses on the Jericho Forum, a group formed by Information Technology (IT) managers in 2004. It discusses the condition and some developments of the group as well as objective and how it plays its influence to the rest of the IT industries. It relates the concept of de-parameterization which refers to the demise of network boundaries due to the recent online interrelationships that need upgraded security measures. Board member of the group Paul Simmonds explained the stance of the group regarding firewall security tool in which he said firewall is obsolete as it is not anymore doing good in security.
