      The author comments on the use of the Wikipedia site as a research tool. He criticizes the move by some librarians to advise people not to use the site, since it is completely contrary to the mission of libraries and the goal of information literacy. He adds that Wikipedia has many uses and practical applications. It usually provides a decent and easy-to-find introduction to a subject, no matter what that subject is.
