The article focuses on the Quantum Entanglement Science and Technology (QuEST) project conducted by the Defense Advanced Projects Research Agency (DARPA) in the U.S. The project focuses on understanding the significant role played by atoms and photons in the field of teleportation. It reveals that quantum teleportation can be made possible by reading the quantum state of an object where the information gathered is transported to the place where the object can be recreated. It discusses the experiment conducted at the Australian Research Council's laboratory which assessed the ability of Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC) rubidium atoms to recreate the same atom through the emission of light. It reveals that the process has the potential to be applied to human teleportation.
