This article is focused on Abigail Washburn of the bluegrass musical group the Sparrow Quartet. Washburn studied both American music and Chinese culture at college, and it is stated that these disciplines are fused together on her music group's self-titled release. The Sparrow Quartet will perform at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China.
