Banff and Jasper national parks are famous for their mountain lakes, flower-spangled meadows, spirelike peaks choked by glaciers, and abundant wildlife. Nearly the entire spine of the Rockies is preserved as parkland or wilderness. Canada's Rocky Mountain parks include Jasper and Banff.
