The article focuses on Aaron Rodgers, quarterback (QB) for the Green Bay Packers. Particular attention is given to how Rodgers will be the starting QB for the 2008 National Football League (NFL) season, replacing the retired Brett Favre. Historical analysis of former NFL QBs that had to succeed successful QBs is provided. Players discussed include Steve Young who followed Joe Montana, Jay Fielder who followed Dan Marino, and Marty Domres who succeeded Johnny Unitas.
