      The article provides information on the evidence concerning the establishment of trading during the Viking age in England. At a Viking-age settlement in Kaupang Site, Norway a team of archaeologists led by James Barrett has analyzed the bones and remains of plants and insects. They have discovered that the remains was not originated in the area. Moreover, the discovery indicated the establishment of trading during the Viking era.
