The article focuses on the U.S. Census Bureau's report related to working duration of the pregnant women employees. The report states that the pregnant women are working longer and returning sooner than they used to be. The report shows that only 25% pregnant women quit work before or after giving birth and college graduates are more likely to work during pregnancy. The census analysis also reveals percentage rise in the first births to women aged 30 and older from 4% in 1970 to 24% in 2000.
