      The article presents the journeying of Love Canal for health harm prevention. Love Canal marked the start of movement towards preventing environmental health harm. In 1978 Lois Gibbs and neighbors experience with Love Canal, toxic waste site made Gibbs to be mentor for Love Canal movement. Lois and fellow activists presented a deadline of May 21, 1980 to move remaining families within the site that is heard by the president and signed bill to move all the Love Canal victims. Lois founded the Center for Health, Environment and Justice (CHEJ) in 1981 and revealed the Cerell Report in 1986. The report exposes the industries plan to locate toxic landfills in low income, minorities and elderly occupy. The journey of Love Canal had mentored ten thousand groups and still moving for zero wastes.
