      In this article the author likens the 2008 U.S. presidential campaign of senator Barack Obama to that of senator Robert Kennedy conducted in 1968. The author is of the opinion that Obama's campaign is similar to Kennedy's in that both offered vague but inspiring images of the United States. He suggests that Obama's campaign is based on false promises of peace and racial harmony.
