Information about the Eighth International Symposium on Regulation of Enzyme Activity and Synthesis in Mammalian Tissues held in Indianapolis, Indiana, on September 29-30, 1969 is presented. It was organized to discuss studies on gluconeogenesis in fasting man, some aspects of the regulation of metabolism by adenylic acid system and on microsomal and mitochondrial cytochrome oxidation. Lecturers George F. Cahill, Ronald W. Estabrook and Fabio Sereni were among those who graced the program.
