    • Abstract:
The article focuses on actions being taken by the religious community to help address the problem on climate change. Issues of environmental degradation and climate change have been gaining ground within faith communities. An example was the National Religious Partnership for the Environment which released the paper "A Religious Agenda on Poverty and Global Climate Change" that calls on policymakers to make protecting vulnerable populations a central focus of climate change legislation. Many faith groups are offering resources and programs for congregations that want to take action.
