      The article reports on the partnership between the Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth, the University of Oxford in England and FPL Energy LLC to conduct a study on the impact of wind power on the environment, socioeconomics and energy consumption. The study aims to create guidelines on using wind energy. TCU professor Victor Boschini says that the university is also encouraging its faculty and students to participate in the research. FPL owns over 55 wind farms across the U.S.
