TWO PRAYER WEEKS.

The author provides a brief account of the history and the intentions of the Week of Prayer of the Evangelical Alliance and discusses the challenges presented to churches by the relationship of that historic week to the ecumenical Week of Prayer for Christian Unity. The annual Evangelical Alliance Prayer Week is considered as the first global prayer week in the history of Christianity. He calls for a better coordination between those responsible for organizing the prayer programme and the liturgies of both prayer weeks.
