Spyware Poses Greater Threat.

The article reports on the research from the Computing Technology Industry Association regarding the threats brought by the spyware. It mentions that the computer worms, viruses and browser-based attacks have lessened while spyware is now on its lead. The result of the survey says that 55 percent of 1,070 organizations agreed that the volume of spyware they combat has increased. On the other hand, 54 percent of the survey respondents cited other security challenges including viruses and worms, authorized user abuse, and browser-based attacks. CompTIA also launched their survey and asked the organizations to identify the types of security attacks they expect to face in the following years wherein viruses and worms topped the list.
