      The article deals with political issues in Poland as of March 2008. The government led by the liberal conservative Civic Platform (PO) has passed the symbolic landmark of 100 days in office in late February. Prime Minister Donald Tusk made a one-day working visit to Moscow, Russia in February. The government has successfully maintained its more assertive approach to relations with the U.S., specifically its negotiations over the planned missile shields.
