      The article presents the Standard for Excellence guidelines for church financial operations by the National Leadership Roundtable on Church Management (NLRCM) in the U.S. Several lay groups such as the Voice of the Faithful (VOTF) and the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP) aim to restructure the standards for church operation. These standards recommend best practices for financial accountability, conflict of interest management, and human resources development.
