      The article presents followup news on stories which appeared in previous issues of the magazine. A plan to install wind power turbines off the coast of Massachusetts received approval from the U.S. Department of the Interior's Minerals Management Service. Research into the toxicity of carbon nanotubes is discussed. The synthetic creation of an artificial bacterial genome is also noted.
