      The article presents a study which determines cholinergic compounds in ophthalmic solutions using the Reagent-Free™ ion chromatography (RFIC™) system called ICS-2000 RFIC from Dionex Corp. Several cholinergic compounds including carbachol, choline and bethanechol were separated using the chromatography management software. Results revealed that RFIC application depicts quantification of the said cholinergic compounds in the presence of sodium in lens and saline solutions.
