      The article examines the role of black Americans in television programs and forecasts the future of motion picture industry in the U.S. It is stated that combination of various popular media such as radio, film, print, and television programs would provide a good approach for the new advancement of the American civilization. At the early stage of entertainment industry, black talents were usually featured as dancers, singers, musicians, and comedians. However, continued adaptation to the values and tastes of audience trigger directors to develop certain perimeters that clearly mark the borders of black expression in the medium. They then appear in familiar and stereotyped situations with roles as supporting characters in few dramas.
