      The article presents information on the government of Zimbabwe. Under the constitutional law of the country, the president is head of state and head of government, while the parliament is bicameral. There 150 members in the House of Assembly which consists of 120 elected seats. A September 2007 constitutional amendment led to changes in the country's electoral dispensation. Robert Mugabe is the president of Zimbabwe.
