    • Abstract:
The article reports on the decision of the U.S. to not include its Internet gambling rules to the jurisdiction of the World Trade Organization (WTO). The decision of the country came out after it lost a WTO regarding gambling. By removing gambling in its commitments under the General Agreement on Trade in Services (GATS), the country can not be ordered to let foreign investors provide gambling services. It will also give the U.S. power to regulate Internet gambling without worrying about retaliations from member countries of the WTO.
