    • Abstract:
The article explores the impact of climate change specifically on Sub-Saharan Africa as reported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The 2007 Human Development Report disclosed that failure to act against this phenomenon might lead to the increased number of people who will experience hunger, higher incidence of outbreaks of mosquito-born diseases including malaria and Rift Valley fever, and to a rate higher than bilateral aid to the region in 2005. Some of the countries that are likely to be negatively affected by climate change include Ethiopia, Kenya, and Nigeria.
