A New Decade for Biology Education.

The curriculum reforms of the 1960s and 70s have paved the way for new efforts in the '80s and beyond. Previous concerns for inquiry, pedagogy, and relevance have matured into fresh emphases on social issues, decision making, and concerns of values, ethics, and morality. New BSCS programs in human genetics education illustrate the efforts of curriculum development organizations to help students learn how best to deal with the problems and potentials of a new era.
