      The article presents information on the geomorphology and zoogeography of life forms in Georgia. It discusses the Brevard Fault Zone, the Pine mountain and the famous "red clay" of the Piedmont. It discusses the two types of Georgia's mountains, together comprising, the sedimentary region of Paleozoic age. It talks about mountains fauna including, red squirrel, red-backed vole, and wood frog. It states that the coastal plains are either covered with bottomland hardwoods or are distinguished by swell-butted species such as cypress, and tupelo. The Coastal Plain is the exclusive haunt of the diamondback rattlesnake and the alligator.
