      The article examines how licensed music from the musical group The Beatles is being sampled in rap music and advertisements. The rap group Wu-Tang Clan has sampled The Beatles' song "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," and Ja Rule has sampled the song "Eleanor Rigby." The article explains that Sony/ATV, which owns all but a handful of Lennon/McCartney copyrights, is beginning to allow a select group of musicians and companies to license certain Beatles songs.
