- Abstract:
This article discusses how the Iraq War will affect other nations such as Turkey and Iran. Turkish citizens view the U.S. unfavorably following attacks by Kurdish rebels from Iraq. The Turkish government has approved an invasion of Iraqi Kurdistan, threatening to destabilize the region. Shiite factions such as the Badr Corps control Iraq and have signed agreements with the Iranian government. The author suggests the creation of a stable democratic government in Iraq is not feasible.
